1500 MARKET
1500 Market—Centre Square—is one of the largest commercial properties in the Philadelphia Commercial Business District. Built in 1974, the 36-story East Tower and the 43-story West Tower needed extensive renovations.
The owners brought in Encore Group to supply and manage the lighting and control systems.
This high profile, politically important project faced budgetary concerns that resulted in a condensed schedule. Add to that the congested urban area and the fact that the work had to be done while the buildings remained occupied, and this project presented a sizable logistical challenge.
Encore Group met the challenge by arranging for nearby storage space so that supplies would be readily available.
Encore personnel kept a consistent onsite presence and worked closely with the owner and management to immediately solve any problems that came up. In the end, Encore’s hands-on approach helped ensure that the project came in on budget and on time.
